Spouse comments: Lilian Woodruff (Harvey) b.1870 Wisconsin. Note Albert Smith Blencoe married Lillian Harvey, maiden name Woodruff, May 24, 1898 in a civil ceremony by John F. Doherty of La Crosse. Lillian” father was John Woodruff and her mother was Laura Edwards. Albert Smith Blencoe was a common laborer residing in Sparta, Monroe County, WI at time of marriage.

MEDALS

On the basis that Albert served overseas (at sea ) with the Navy, he would have been entitled to the Victory medal. The medal would have had a clasp designating areas where he served. There were 16 clasps approved with the Atlantic being the most commonly issued.

AFTER THE WAR

In Obituary for brother Omer John it is mentioned in this year Bert was living in North Fork Montana, however two years later back in Wisconsin.
