Notes: Headquarters Company, 333rd Infantry, UsaCarroll would have been sent to Europe as part of the 84th Div. and likely wouldn’t have taken part in any fighting. The first contingent of 84th Div. arrived in France on the 25th of Sept. 1918. The 84th Div. was mostly used to supply other Divisions with replacements.

- Nov 1918-April 1919. The 78th Division less the artillery and ammunition train was relieved by the 42d Division on November 5 and moved south to the area near Sta Menehould. In the latter part of November, the division moved to an area in the Cote D’or with headquarters at Sem r en^Auxois. It moved to ports of embarkation in the latter part of April.5
