Blincoe William John, Warwickshire Regiment
Strangely no records at all for William John yet remembered at Chearsley war memorial and Chearsley Church with the Warwickshire Regt. attributed to his service.
Died 23 Dec 1919 presumably in Chearsley.
Memorial Plaque at Chearsley Church Bucks records William Blincoe war fallen WW1.
Unable to trace war records. A possible explanation is perhaps a misspelling or a nom de plume.

William was lodging with his sister Amelia Kate Saunders on Cambridge St. Coalville at the time of the 1901 Census and could have been in housing similar to this.
Barrack Row (shown) was built by the Snibston Colliery Co. in 1833 to house workers arriving in town from distant parts. The row was in the form of a barrack building, but was later converted to back-to-back design and finally to individual houses.
