Thomas W Hathaway, 2nd Lieut 7th and 9th Oxford and Bucks Light Infantry

Synopsis

Thomas it seems from the evidence we have was wounded or gassed in his first two days in the trenches this coupled with the fact that his Battalion was the very next month to be sent to the relatively safer front in Greece meant he was indeed unfortunate. He was Invalided home and was awarded the Silver War Badge and honourably discharged.
